I finally got around to buying David Allen's book (I bought it from Amazon along with one of the textbooks that I need for one of my grad courses). So far it is a pretty easy read. The book organizes a lot of what I know and have learned from working in industry for 18 years. I'll need to get through it all, digest it, and read through it again before I decide on what it can do for me. At this point, two thumbs up. I just need to put it down and get back to my textbooks occasionally.
What are you going to do with your tax return?

Not worry about it. My wife and I have a deal, I earn the money and she spends it. That way I don't have to worry about it. The same goes for our tax return. She'll find something to do with it.
I've just started reading the Llama book. It has been a while since I have tried to learn a new programming language, the last I think was C++ in college. It's about time I add to my skill set in this area. The book seems straight forward so far. It was definitely written by programmers and their sense of humor is evidents throughout. I may revisit C++ after this to brush up.
